About ShieldSphere
Built by safety professionals, for the people who carry safety.
ShieldSphere exists to give safety pros, and the people who got handed safety on top of another job, a faster way through the work OSHA expects: written programs, hazard reviews, inspections, training records, and the documentation that holds up in an audit. The platform pairs AI with the judgment of someone who has actually built and run compliance programs in the field.
The expertise behind the platform

Matt Thompson, CSP - Founder
Certified Safety Professional and authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer with nearly two decades in the field. Founder of TSG Safety.
ShieldSphere was founded by Matt Thompson, CSP, a Certified Safety Professional and authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer with nearly two decades of experience building and running occupational safety and health programs at enterprise scale.
Matt led the occupational safety and health program at Wellstar Health System, the regional safety program at Kloeckner Metals, and the regional EHS program at Hewlett Packard. That range matters: a hospital, a metals service center, and a global technology operation share almost no hazards, but they answer to the same regulator. Across consulting and in-house roles he has worked in most of the industries OSHA covers, from healthcare and manufacturing to construction and renewable energy.
He now runs the safety consulting firm TSG Safety and is a partner in ProximaWork, a respiratory-protection medical-evaluation platform.
TSG Safety came out of a pattern he kept running into: organizations that wanted to do safety well, but were stuck between complex regulations, limited internal resources, and generic templates that were never written for their operation. ShieldSphere is that same consulting work built into software, so a team can get to an audit-ready program in minutes without starting from a blank page.
The approach behind both is the same one that guides the product: safety should be practical, proactive, and personal, not confusing jargon and check-the-box programs.
Hands-on across
How ShieldSphere approaches compliance
ShieldSphere uses AI to do the heavy lifting, drafting industry-specific policies, surfacing cited OSHA standards, and organizing the records auditors ask for, so that the work that used to take days takes minutes. The AI is guided by real compliance experience, not a generic template library.
That said, AI is a starting point, not a substitute for professional judgment. Every AI-generated document is a draft meant to be reviewed, customized, and approved by a qualified safety professional before it is put into use. ShieldSphere is a compliance management tool, not legal advice, and you remain responsible for ensuring your program meets the regulations that apply to your workplace.
